Tittel: Belgian-Japanese meteorite collection in the Sør Rondane region of Antarctica – expeditions and research output
Sammendrag: Since 2009, joint Belgian-Japanese expeditions search for meteorites and micrometeorites in the Sør Rondane region of Antarctica. The first three expeditions recovered over 1300 new samples, including a few unique specimens to decipher the early history of the solar system and the formation of planets. This talk will describe the highlights of these expeditions and provide a view of the ongoing research using this new material.
